Steve Berru--bass guitar, backing vocals
Steve Berru is a classic rock & roller
having grown up a fan of the British Invasion during the mid to late 60’s and the healthy pop music culture that followed.
Being taught by an older brother to play guitar, he followed an interest in music that included studies in piano and a love
for several different musical styles.
During high school he picked up the bass guitar and continued with the bass
as his primary instrument and occasionally keyboards throughout his career. He's been seen on the San Gabriel Valley
bar and club circuit and has recorded bass and keyboards on the David Gram’s "Illusions of Time" album.
Currently Steve is making the rounds with his partner from previous bands David Gram, forming an ensemble with Amy
Katherine (Kat) Hall, Davis Page, Don Endreola, and Richard Young in a revitalized band called Route 66. The goal is
to bring the music to people who share the love of good music with a focus on classic and danceable music whether old or new.
Watch and listen for a surprise as Steve sits in on the Hammond B3 on a Pink Floyd song now and
then. David Grams will fill the bass guitar slot while Steve plays Hammond B3.
