Steve “Riff” Riffenburgh. Steve grew up locally in Pasadena. His first guitar was bought in Tijuana for $7! That was followed by a baby blue Fender Mustang, which he still owns. At Blair High School in Pasadena, a counselor asked Steve what he wanted to be when he grew up. The answer was a mathematician, a doctor, or a rock-and-roll guitarist. So he majored in math in college, earned an MD degree (now a retired surgeon), but still wants to be a guitarist! His family nickname is coincidentally appropriate.

Steve currently has 8 blue guitars, of which his favorites are a Rickenbacker 620 and a PRS SE
